After nearly five months of uncertainty as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, subsequent lockdown and cancellation of just about all international travel, at last there is a glimmer of hope that we will get out to Zambia soon.
The international airports are now open and several airlines are now flying into Lusaka.
Visas are again being issued and tourists no longer need to quarantine on arrival.
Covid19 is still very real in Zambia and sensible precautions need to be taken but life is settling into the new norm.
We have obtained clearance from the Ministry of Health in Zambia, applied and been issued with our visa to enter the country, flights are booked and Covid tests scheduled.
So ..... its all systems go!...
The situation is very fluid and anything could change in the next couple of weeks - we've been this close before ......
But fingers crossed we are at last ready to embark on this adventure!
