The UK is starting to emerge from the lockdown slowly and we are beginning to hope that we can plan our trip to Zambia in the coming weeks. We continue to watch how things are developing in Zambia and wait news on the reinstatement of visas.

This month water became an issue. The pump from the borehole stopped working and the team were unable to get water into camp. Investigations suggest that the pump is clogged and will need to be sent away to Lusaka for repair.
A replacement solar pump was brought to site but this didn't work. After further attempts at a solution, we decided that the best solution was to purchase a new pump and generator. These have now been installed and the team have fresh water again.
